How to maintain healthy eyelashes

Curvy, long, healthy lashes can make your eyes look wider, alert and more youthful in appearance. It may be no surprise, then, that women want to accentuate their lashes. But maintaining long, healthy eye lashes is often no easy task, as lashes are constantly exposed to irritants such as pollution and smoke. In addition to these environmental stresses, your lashes also experience demands from continuous mascara application and curling, eyelash extensions as well as pulling and rubbing. All of these lead to fewer and thinner lashes.

Eyelashes can bring an instant glamour to your eyes that can be head turning. We have the same number of eyelashes we were born with but overtime, they can thin and fall out due to our beauty abuse to them. Beauty abuse examples are sleeping in mascara which can lead to the lashes breaking due to the stiffness, rubbing or tugging at our eyelids to remove makeup, ripping out false lashes, or wearing water-proof mascara too often which is very drying for your eyelashes. The more damage you put on your eyelashes will damage the follicle which will make the hair more shorter, fragile, and thinner. The hair may eventually stop producing hair!  So how can you maintain the lashes you have now?

How to keep your eyelashes in good shape:

• Use a gentle remover and pat or dab at the lids rather than rubbing or pulling.
• Never tug at lashes.
• If you use a lash curler, make sure you’re not pulling on your lids at all.
• If you want to remove clumps from mascara, you must do it when the mascara is still wet and easy to comb through.
• Replace your mascaras every three to six months.

Eyelash Conditioners

• Put a think layer of Vaseline, Un-Petroleum, or Aquaphor over your lids at night to condition lashes. Also Vitamin E and any level of Vitamin B-5 (will help grow while keeping them strong)
• Using over-the-couter lash conditioner s can be useful since they contain proteins like keratin or biotin to strengthen and moisturize lashes. There are possible side effects like irritation and darkening of the skin so use with caution.

So i was browsing online and i came across this great article about Giorgio Armani's new october line i love the colors and the fact that they stay without the use of primer.. but are they worth $32.00??

Ellen Show

On Monday i went to the Ellen DeGenere's Show at the WB Studios in Burbank, CA and i had such a good time! It was our first time there, so we arrived real early to make sure we got good seats, since we were not guaranteed seats . The whole process of being there was such a blast, the host and the whole crew sure kept us awake and full of spirit. The show is an hour long, and prob out of the whole hour we danced about 45 minutes LOL its such an upbeat show! i Love it.. i would love to share pix but unfortunately NO PICS were allowed... Armie Hammer (Social Network Actor), Rascal Flatts, some Magicians and Jenny McCarthy was there talking about her new book; Love, Lust and Faking it, We all went home with a copy (Yipeee)   I was just waiting to see what my prize was, i know alot of people that get real great gifts so i wanted to be one of them, i expected to come home with an ipad or tv lol.. but it was just a book! but book or not, i had a great time & for a monday of doing nothing.. it was worth it! I already want to go back...
